Like curry powder, this is best when homemade in small quantities. It is a mixture of several ground spices, which may be used in addition to curry powder. The basic formula is an equal measure of black pepper, cloves and cinnamon, and a double measure of coriander and cumin seeds. They are roasted and ground in the same way as curry powder.
