Gomasio/Sesame salt

Gomasio is made by grinding roasted sesame seeds very finely and then adding sea salt (5 parts sesame to 1 part salt). It is widely used in Japan and in the macrobiotic diet as an alternative to salt. Its nutty taste makes it a delicious addition to any savoury dish.
