  • About
Regular rice eaters need far more than people who regard it as exotic. Two cups of rice (say, 250 g /2 lb) boiled with 2 ½ cups of water, will be ample for 6-8 average Westerners; it would probably feed 4 Indonesians, or 2 who are really hungry. Leftover rice can be refrigerated and reheated next day. Don’t store it too long at room temperature -after a day or so air-borne bacilli can make it toxic.
