  • About

There are many chilli peppers in the world but the most popular type of chilli pepper in Japan is called takano tsume (eagle’s talons) which is about 3-cm (1⅔-in) in length and often sold in dried form. It is very spicy with a hint of sweetness. The powdered version is sold as ichimi togarashi.
