Stand Mixer

Although one of these is not needed for ice cream, unless you have the ice cream maker attachment to the KitchenAid mixer, this heavy-duty mixer and its paddle attachment are great for softening ice cream to mold it into a pan. The stand mixers are wonderful for baking.
