Saucepans It’s always worth investing in decent saucepans. Cheap pots and pans will warp with the heat and can sometimes end up leaking, losing their handles and generally falling into disrepair quite early on in their lives. They can also develop hotspots, causing your food to cook unevenly and stick to the bottom.
Porringer pot This is great for tempering chocolate, retaining heat and decorating and dipping chocolates. It also prevents steam from escaping and getting into your chocolate, which can make it thicker. This is an inexpensive way to start tempering.
