Making a Paper Cornel

Paper cornets are useful for very fine piping, such as an intricate decoration or writing.
  • Cut a sheet of silicone baking paper into triangles; make sure that you have one longer side and two smaller sides. (1) Position the paper in front of you with the middle corner pointing towards you and the long side of the triangle facing away from you.

  • Curl one corner over to the centre to create a cornet. (2) Holding the cone with one hand, curl the other corner over the cornet so that it meets with your hand holding the cornet. (3) Hold the back of the cornet with both hands, then fold the excess parchment into the cornet to secure it. (4)
