This is an addictive Egyptian concoction of roasted nuts, sesame seeds, salt and aromatic spices which include cumin, coriander, cinnamon and a zesty kick of black pepper (recipe). Dukkah is delicious with pita bread dipped first in fruity olive oil, or sprinkled over cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs or as a crunchy coating for grilled meat or fish.
