An attractive medium apple. Its skin is a beautiful combination of orange and red over a pale yellow background, sprinkled here and there with dark brown to black dots. The flesh is firm and pale yellow. Fuji apples are great for baking and poaching but not a good choice to cook all the way down to a puree for applesauce or a filling. Their good looks make them popular for fruit baskets and displays. Season: Generally year round.
