  • About
These apples were first cultivated in the 1940s and have only recently regained their popularity. This medium-sized fruit has an unusually colored pink flesh and light green skin, with occasional steaks of red. The flavor varies from quite tart to sweet-tart, depending on climate and, of course, the time of harvest. This apple is a great choice for making decorative apple chips. Season: Early fall to late winter; stores well.
