  • About
Originated in England and hailed by many as the rival to Royal and the standard of excellence for the species. The skin of this attractive, large, oval fruit is orange, deeply blushed, and speckled with dots of brown and red. The orange flesh has a great aromatic flavor, but its drawbacks are a tendency toward halves of uneven size and staggered ripening. This is a good all-around fruit. Season: Midsummer.
