Golden Aromatic

This banana is known in Chinese as go san heong, which I have been told translates roughly to “you can smell the fragrance from the next mountain.” These closely resemble the Gros Michel in taste; however, their flavor is even sweeter. Like the Gros Michel, these are hard to come by. The fingers are 6 to 9 inches (15 to 22.5 cm) long, with golden yellow skin.
