Finger Bananas

Also known as lady fingers, these are the most esteemed bananas in tropical countries. They are very small, only 3 to 4 inches (7.5 to 8 cm) in length, with a thin yellow skin; their flesh is soft and sweet. Unfortunately, we do not get to enjoy this delicacy as frequently as we do yellow bananas because the thin-skinned finger bananas do not transport as well.
