A Dutch liqueur with the flavor of dried orange peel, garnered from sour and bitter oranges found on the Caribbean island of Curaçao. Cointreau, triple sec, and Grand Marnier are similar to curaçao. While it is often clear, it can be colored golden or blue. This orange-flavored liqueur is used to flavor various desserts and pastries.
