  • About
22- to 24-karat gold that is ground into an edible dust and used as decorations for desserts, pastries, and confections. This tasteless powder is very lightweight and should be handled carefully, as it has a tendency to fly. Gold powder will last indefinitely if stored in a cool, dry place in a well-covered container.
