Muskmelon

One of the two categories between which all melons are divided (watermelon is the other), this large classification includes many of the most familiar varietes, including the cantaloupe, Persian, casaba, Crenshaw, and honeydew melons. Muskmelons may have either netted or smooth skin and always contain seeds in a semihollow, fibrous center.
