Also known by the Italian name fiori di sicilia, orange flower water is a clear, sweet aromatic liquid that is distilled from the blossoms of bitter oranges. It has been used since the Middle Ages and is most popular in Indian, Greek, and Middle Eastern foods. It is very strong and should be used in moderation. It is used to add flavor and essence to cold drinks and savory items as well as various desserts, pastries, and confections.
