  • About

Sometimes called juice oranges, this variety is divided into two groups: those grown in the Southwest and those adapted to the Southeast, with the exception of Valencia (the most widely grown and important sweet orange in the world), which is grown in both regions. As their alternate name suggests, common oranges are typically used to make fresh juice, as they all are very sweet and have an abundance of juice.
