  • About
This variety originated in either Belgium or France, depending on who is talking. The fruit is large and narrow, with a distinct long and elegant neck that sets it apart from all other pears. It has a yellow-green, heavily russetted skin and a white, firm, actually crisp aromatic flesh. One of the best all-around pears. It should never be placed in the refrigerator. Season: Late.
