Winternelis

Originated in Belgium (by Jean-Claud Nelis). The fruit is medium in size, and the skin is green-yellow with russet and rather unattractive and rough. It has a spicy, fine-textured flesh, although it can be gritty toward the center. Its best feature is its long keeping ability. Season: Late.
