  • About

This pure refined mined rock salt is coarse-grained and without additives. It does not contain magnesium carbonate and thus will not cloud items it is added to. It is excellent for use in cooking and as a table seasoning. It is commonly used in commercial kitchens because of its flaked rather than granulated form, which allows more even distribution over food. Kosher salt has a crisp, clean taste and dissolves readily. It is chemically identical to table salt but it contains no additives. As its name implies, kosher salt is the only allowable salt for people who observe strict Jewish dietary guidelines. It is also known as coarse salt and pickling salt.
