  • About
A French village south of Bordeaux whose five neighboring towns all produce the white dessert wine of the same name. Sauternes grapes are part of a late harvest that allows them the maximum amount of time to develop a high sugar content. The resulting wine is often characterized as having an intense buttery, fruity, golden taste.
