  • About

Tangelos are, as the name suggests, a cross between a tangerine and a pomelo. This loose-skinned hybrid in itself has many varieties. One of the more common ones in the United States is the Minneola, which is distinguished by its large nipple-shaped neck. Colors of the tangelo range from light yellow all the way to deep orange; size and flavor are also widely variable. Season: Early November through March.
