  • About
An herb with a pungent mint and lemonlike flavor and aroma (there are also separate lemon thyme and lime thyme varieties). Thyme is native to southern Europe. The ancient Greeks favored thyme blossom honey, and thyme is commonly used in Creole cuisine. It is a low-growing plant with small purple flowers and tiny, round gray-green leaves. It is used both fresh and dried.
