  • About

Name used by various French manufacturers for white curaçao, an orange liqueur. The literal translation from the French is “thrice dry.” Triple sec was originally introduced as the highest grade of liqueur produced by the Cointreau firm in France, but the name is now used generically to refer to any clear orange-flavored liqueur, often the least expensive variety.
