  • About

Granulated sugar infused with the flavor of vanilla beans. It is produced commercially or you can make it easily by burying vanilla beans in a container of granulated sugar. The longer the beans are left in the sugar, the stronger the flavor; approximately one week is a minimum. Vanilla sugar is used in baked goods and pastry fillings and can be served with fruit.
