Marzipan modeling tool

  • About
One of a set of hand tools about 5 inches (12.5 cm) long, used to mark and form marzipan figures. The ends of the tools have surfaces that are blunt, round, pointed, flat, ball-shaped, or engraved to make the various imprints; each tool has a different shape on both ends. A professional set usually includes 12 tools. The set is fairly expensive but a necessary investment if you make marzipan figures frequently. For occasional marzipan work, a set of small tools intended for use with modeling clay can be purchased at an art supply store at a considerably lower price.
