  • About

A small, wide piece of metal or plastic bent into a V-shape, with a textured gripping area on the tip. It is similar to a large pair of tweezers and is held in an open position by a spring or simply the tension of the bent material. It is used to remove the green stem and core (hull) from strawberries. A melon ball tool works just as well for this purpose.
