Guineito niño, finger banana

A variety of banana. It is small, resembling a thumb finger. The flesh, when ripe, is very sweet. Not to be used when unripe, it is delicious when ripe, fried in butter with fresh grated Parmesan cheese or in wine or butter sauce.
