  • About
Soak any discarded apple skins or cores in white distilled vinegar with a spoonful of sugar for about a week to extract the apple flavor into the vinegar. It is not a true apple cider vinegar, which is made by making sweet cider, fermenting it into hard cider, and then acidulating it with a vinegar mother. The flavor achieved by this method tends to be lighter and more โ€œapple-y.โ€
