I love a pickled apple! I use the Traditional Pickle Liquid and pour it over cored and sliced apples. Pickled apples are great on a charcuterie platter, relish tray, or to garnish a richer cut of meat (such as pork, game, or fowl). They will keep for months in the fridge or canned.
