  • About

Choose a firmer-flesh plum for pickling, or the fruit will certainly go mushy. Use the Basic Fruit Pickle Brine and pour over plums cut into halves or quarters and pits removed.

  • Toss just-roasted parsnips with minced rosemary and transfer to a serving platter. Then dot the whole mixture with pickled plums and a drizzle of the pickling liquid.
  • Add a few pickled plums to any fruit salad to give an extra layer of flavor.
  • Top oatmeal with a few pickled plums and a heavy pour of maple syrup.
