Panettone

A northern Italian, dome-shaped cake made with yeast and dried and candied fruit. It was traditionally given as a gift at Christmas, and eaten as a Christmas cake, but it is now enjoyed up to Easter. It can be bought in different sizes at Italian delicatessens, or you can make it yourself from a good recipe.
