Zinc is required by hundreds of enzymes in the body. Without it they would suffer, which could lead to a less effective metabolism and immune system and could contribute to unrestful sleep and fatigue. If that wasn’t enough, when paired with vitamin B6, zinc has been known to increase the vividness of dreams. Rich sources of zinc include red meat, shellfish, seeds, cashews, pine nuts, almonds, dairy and dark chocolate.
