  • About

Della rices Della is a category of long-grain aromatic American rices that cook to a dry, fluffy texture with separate grains like conventional (Carolina-type) American long-grain rices. The other aromatic category is jasmine rices. Della rices often have a nutty taste and a roasted nut or popcorn aroma. The two best-known examples are Louisiana pecan and Louisiana popcorn rice. See Carolina rice, and Louisiana pecan or wild pecan rice.
