You can wrap these supple strips around cakes and desserts that are lightly covered with whipped cream or buttercream.
Temper the chocolate and apply it to the baking sheet as directed above for Chocolate Cigarettes. Then, using a pancake-style metal spatula, push with one hand to lift a strip of chocolate; hold the top edge of the forming strip of chocolate with the fingertips of your other hand. Keep a light, steady tension on the top edge as the strip lengthens; this should be a smooth, synchronized movement between the right and left hand.
