This is just our own seasoning that we take camping or into the woods or to the beach for some outdoor cooking. We simply mix dried purple juniper berries with black peppercorns, red peppercorns, allspice berries and Himalayan pink salt– approximately a tablespoon of each – and coarsely grind them using a mortar and pestle, or tip them all into a pepper grinder to take with us. Fragrant and aromatic, it works well as a seasoning for fish or meat.
