These are foods that support the rapid growth of bacteria. A partial list of PHF items includes raw or undercooked meat, especially bacon; dairy products, such as cut cheeses and sour cream; fresh shelled eggs; unrefrigerated fresh garlic in oil; raw seeds or sprouts; soy products; and any sauces containing PHF ingredients.
