Most models come with a very sharp double-bladed knife for chopping, puréeing and mincing, with extra discs for slicing, grating and shredding. An optional plastic blade kneads dough, and there are optional juice extractors and coffee grinders. Ideally it should have rubber footpads to keep it in place while running.
