Scrub very thoroughly and remove any fibrous matter sticking out from the shell. Put in a large saucepan and cover with a damp cloth. Put over medium heat about 3 minutes until they open. Cool in the pan. Remove from shells and pack in boxes, covering with their own juice. High Quality Storage Life: 1 month.
