  • About
Chantilly cream is a whipped heavy cream that can be plain or steeped with flavoring ingredients such as tea or spices and that is lightly sweetened and often flavored with vanilla. Alternatively, ingredients such as chocolate can be combined with the cream by bringing the cream to a boil and pouring it over the white, milk, or dark chocolate. Stir to melt the chocolate, chill the mixture, and then whip it. This closely resembles a mousse, but it is much lighter since it contains no eggs.
