Sukkot

Originally an autumn harvest festival of thanksgiving, this holiday, known as the Festival of Tabernacles or Feast of Booths, commemorates the period of wandering in the Sinai desert, when the Israelites lived in booths (sukkot). Meals are eaten in the sukkah.
