Carob Juice

The carob is the fruit or legume from the carob tree, grown in the Galilee. The pod contains a sweet edible pulp which is roasted to become a powder that as a taste similar to chocolate. The powder mixed with water is a sweet drink, that is often drunk before fasting during Ramadan.
