Kabocha

A Japanese winter squash. Kabocha has a dark green skin and bright orange flesh. Popular for its sweet, buttery flavor and fluffy texture when cooked.

Katsuo (bonito) formed into a boat shape known as a fushi for processing. Dried bonito flakes are frequently mixed with kombu to make dashi.
