Also known as mountain pepper, this Southern Chinese seed has an alluring whiff of spa. Use to add lemony zip to tea infusions, fresh fruit salads or jellies.

Just before using, crush the berries with a pestle and mortar to release the fresh, lemongrass-like bouquet.
