Azores

Azores, archipelago in the Atlantic and an autonomous region of portugal. Three of its nine islands grow vines and have their own dop. See biscoitos, pico, and graciosa. In 2004, a vinho regional category Açores was created for all red and white wines produced throughout the archipelago.
