Ezerjó, white grape variety still planted on about 1,000 ha of vineyard in hungary but scarcely known outside it. Most of the wine produced is relatively anodyne, but Móri Ezerjó produced from the vineyards near the town of Mór enjoys a certain following as a light, crisp, refreshing drink. It also produces strong, sweet wines, botrytized in good vintages. Ezerjó means ‘a thousand boons’.
