Garanoir

Garanoir, red grapevine cross created at changins by André Jaquinet from Gamay and Reichensteiner. It makes less concentrated, softer, fruitier wines than its sister cross gamaret and was planted on 214 ha/528 acres in Switzerland in 2012.
