Prieto Picudo, unusual, musky, Spanish medium-red grape grown in 2012 on 4,465 ha/11,029 acres, mainly around the city of León in north central Spain. These red wines are light in colour but potent and distinctive. It is probably a sibling of Portugal’s alfrocheiro.
