  • About

Sierra de Salamanca, dop in the south of Salamanca province in western Spain. The Sierra de Francia mountain range has some 300 ha/750 acres of vineyards on acid, granite soils differing from the usual limestone of Spain’s high plateaus. Five wineries led by the ambitious Viñedos del Cámbrico vinify the mainly Tempranillo and local rufete grapes.
